Save by Buying Genarics

Sometimes you need something and their is not a good deal to be found.  Or lets face it sometimes you don't have time for coupons.  But that dose not mean you can not get a good deal on what you need.  Try the off brand.  You can even match the ingredients to the name brand.  (I have found some off brands with more of the active ingredients then the name brand a few times.)

Many generics have guaranties such and the Aldi double guaranty and Walmarts brand money back.

Over-the-counter medications.
Since the Food and Drug Administration requires generic medications to have the same active ingredients as the patented medications they replace, over-the-counter medications are the best way to save money by buying generic. No one wants to skimp on their health, so you'd think that a generic brand might be iffy. But that's not the case.  I love the Walmart brand for all of the basics.

Pantry staples.
Flour, sugar, salt, spices and other single-ingredient items are all the same. Really, they are. Government regulations require the same production and storage for generics as they do for brands, so buying a label is like giving money away for something you use every day. And since the brand-name versions are rarely on sale or have manufacturer's coupons, generic is the best way to go. These can be found at Aldi for the best price 90% of the time so grab it when you are in Manhattan.  I like to stock one months worth in summer and two months worth in winter so I can save on fuel by making less trips.

Soaps and such
From baby shampoo to dish soap you will love the savings and quality you get from Targets Up & Up products.  Walmart's store brand powdered dish washer detergent Ranked #1 in Good housekeeping's study published in Novembers 2011's  issue.  I was excited about that one.  I made the switch and love it give it a try if you don't love it how well it works it's guarantied by GOOD HOUSEKEEPING.
